Granby Obituary: Timothy Malone, 39

Timothy Alan Malone, 39, born June 11, 1976, passed away unexpectedly on January 20, 2016.

He was pre-deceased by his parents, Karen Shaer Malone and Douglas Craig Malone; and his grandparents, Noel and Stephanie Shaer and Norman and Inez (Miller) Malone.

Tim leaves behind his two young children, Beckett Ahrens Malone and Britton Inez Malone; his former wife and life long friend, Darcy (Noble) Malone; brother Mark Malone of Seminole, FL and sister Holly Malone of Simsbury; as well as many loving friends and family.

Tim was a lover of nature and was most in his element when out in the sun, rain, wind or still breeze. He had a kind heart and a great loyalty to his family and friends. He was a lover of all music, but mostly reggae, an avid sports fan, and was a talented and enthusiastic soccer player in his youth. We will remember Tim as a free spirit who always brought a smile to your face. He had a deep commitment and love for his children. He searched eternally for peace in this world, and now, he has finally found it. Tim was, above all else, truly loved by those around him.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 28th from 5-7 PM at South Congregational Church, 242 Salmon Brook Street, Granby. The family invites anyone to share stories and memories at this time.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to the education trust of Beckett and Britton Malone, c/o Windsor Federal Savings & Loan in Granby.
