Granby Police Department Holding Awards Ceremony on Wednesday

On Wednesday, the Granby Police Department will be holding its annual awards ceremony at police headquarters.

Four awards will be given out - two to officers and two to civilians.

The officers are receiving their awards in relation to a fire scene.

One civilian, who was a high school student at the time, is receiving it for saving someone with CPR on the high school grounds. The other is receiving an award for assisting police in locating a drunk driver who fled the scene after striking another vehicle.
