Efforts are a part of the CLICK IT OR TICKET campaign

The following is a release from the Granby Police Department

As the Memorial Day holiday fast approaches, the Granby Police Department is
dedicating its efforts to increasing awareness of safe driving and to help reduce
motor vehicle collisions and the injuries suffered from not wearing seatbelts.
It is important to remind the motoring public of the three basic rules of highway
safety: Always Buckle Up. Obey Posted Speed Limits and Traffic Laws. Never
Drink and Drive.

The Granby Police Department will be stepping up the enforcement of safety
belt, child safety seat, speed and DUI laws heading into the summer season. A
highly visible, concentrated effort will be conducted during the CLICK IT or
TICKET Campaign, with the enforcement period running from May 21 through
