Granby Registrar to Hold Special Session of Voter Registration

The Registrars of Voters of Granby, Laura Wolfe and Sarah Thrall, have announced a special voter registration session on Tuesday, July 29 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Granby residents can come to the Registrar's Office at Granby Town Hall, 15 North Granby Road, Granby, CT,
 
The Registrar of Voters are holding the special session of voter registration to give residents time to sign up two weeks before the Republican primary.  New voters or those who wish to make changes to their information are encouraged to attend. 

The deadline for unaffiliated voters to register to join the Republican party and vote in the primary by mail is August 7, or in person by Monday, August 11 at 12:00 p.m.. The Republican primary will decide who will win their party nomination and to run in November for the offices of Governor, Lieutenant Governor and Comptroller. 

The Republican primary will be held on August 12, 2014 from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Granby High School Community Gym.
