Granby resident, Duane Cashin, to keynote 2013 CT Business Expo

On June 6, 2013 The Connecticut Business Expo will kick off at 9:00am at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. Be prepared to network, learn, grow and prosper at this year’s event, produced by Hartford Business Journal. With hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of attendees, the 2013 Connecticut Business Expo will feature two keynote speakers at the B2B Theater, an all-new networking luncheon and many more exciting highlights. The event will come to a close at 4p.m., followed by a Statewide Business Networking Extravaganza in the Connecticut Convention Center Atrium.

“We have worked hard to bring the best and brightest to this year’s CT Business Expo,” said Gail Lebert, publisher, Hartford Business Journal. “This year’s Expo is our biggest yet, featuring even more opportunities for networking and professional development.”

This excitement-filled day of networking will begin with the Business Champions Awards Breakfast from 7:15a.m. - 8:45 a.m., recognizing privately held companies in the categories of innovation, workforce and sustainable practices. Companies will also be honored for revenue growth in the Hartford Region and the best new startup or launch winner will be recognized.

Downstairs, on the show floor, attendees can visit more than 180 exhibits, attend two free keynote presentations and participate in educational break-out sessions on Sales, Marketing, Social Media and Business Services. The event will conclude with a meet and greet at the 'Commissioners Reception' with Mary Holz-Clause, Ph.D., Vice President for Economic Development UConn, Commissioner James Redeker, Department of Transportation and Deputy Commissioner Ron Angelo, Department of Economic and Community Development, held on the show floor from 3 p.m. – 4p.m.

The 2013 CT Business Expo keynotes will be delivered by Ken Gronbach, President of KGC Direct, LLC and author of the current best-selling book The Age Curve: how to Profit from the Coming Demographic Storm will speak from 9:30a.m. – 10:45 a.m. Following, Duane Cashin will speak about The Future of Sales – Your formula for advancing from sales person to business authority from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Some key take-aways include: How to influence today’s savvy buyers, the secrets to self-motivation, why the future of selling is extremely bright and what it takes to establish “business equality” in the eyes of top executives.
