Granby Resident, Erin Sepe Pirro, Earns National Consulting Certification
Erin Sepe Pirro has earned her designation as Certified Agricultural Consultant from the American Society of Agricultural Consultants.

Farm Credit East is pleased to announce that Erin Sepe Pirro has earned her designation as Certified Agricultural Consultant from the American Society of Agricultural Consultants (ASAC). Farm Credit East is the Northeast’s largest provider of financial services to agriculture.“I’ve never met a young professional with the enthusiasm, dedication and desire to get things done, properly, like Erin.
Not only is there a sparkle in her voice, but there is a tremendous freshness in her approach to understand tasks at hand, organize solutions and then implement the actions needed to achieve the goal,” commented Carroll Merry, ASAC’s Executive Vice President.The designation as a Certified Agricultural Consultant carries with it the responsibility, and distinction, of continually improving one’s skills through documented education and professional development courses, including professional ethics programs.

Pirro began her Farm Credit East career as a summer intern while an undergraduate at the University of Connecticut. Today, as a farm business consultant and vice president, Pirro’s work is centered on successfully helping customers analyze their businesses from many angles in order to pinpoint methods for improving their profitability.

Pirro leads Farm Credit East’s Agricultural Retail Benchmark, a unique program for Northeast ag retail businesses to measure their business against industry peer data and network with other industry leaders.Pirro is often a guest speaker at industry agricultural and economics seminars and serves on the board of the Connecticut Farm Bureau and the Granby Agricultural Commission. Pirro also serves as Chief Financial Officer for the ASAC.Pirro received her undergraduate degree in resource economics and her master’s degree in agricultural economics from the University of Connecticut. Erin and her husband, Jonathan Pirro, make their home in Granby.
