Granby Resident Named to Exclusive All-Region Field Hockey Team
She is one of just three players from Connecticut private schools to make the squad.

GRANBY, CT — Ethel Walker School senior Alexis "Lexi" King was one of 12 Connecticut field hockey players named to the Harrow/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) High School All-Region Teams, announced Monday by the NFHCA national office in Chandler, Ariz.
King, a standout midfielder from Granby who was also named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-Academic Squad, was joined on the Southern New England Region team by two other private school players from Connecticut, seven players from state public schools and two athletes from Rhode Island.
King has committed to play field hockey at Brown University.

The Southern New England Region team selections are:
- Olivia Clarke, Guilford, Jr.
- Francesca Daniels, Valley Regional, Sr.
- Katie Elders, Darien, So.
- Taylor Geaglone, Enfield, Jr.
- Catherine Guanci, Glastonbury, Sr.
- Alexis King, Ethel Walker, Sr.
- Meghann Maguire, North Kingstown, Sr.
- Courtney McMullen, East Greenwich, Sr.
- Alexa Mulvihill, Westbrook, Sr.
- Katherine Queally, The Taft School, Sr.
- Manveer Sandhu, Greenwich Academy, Jr.
- Alyssa Stevens, Cheshire, Sr.
The Harrow/NFHCHA High School All-America Team will be announced later this week.
