Granby Woman Arrested After Drug Sting
Farmington Narcotics Response Team seizes cocaine, PCP.

A 20-year-old Granby woman was arrested for allegedly trying to sell drugs to an undercover police officer outside the new Nordstrom Rack in Farmington.
According to Lt. Marshall Porter, Farmington Police received a tip that Amelia Lyn Ferrell, of 10 Intervale Road in Granby, was trying to sell powder cocaine and blotter acid. She contacted an undercover agent for the department and arranged the sale to take place May 15 in the parking lot at 1600 Southeast Road in Farmington, Porter said.
When Ferrell arrived, several undercover officers were in the parking lot waiting. Police arrested her and seized cocaine and PCP, Porter said.

Ferrell was charged with two counts of possession with intent to sell and two counts of misrepresenting a controlled substance. She was released on a $15,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in court May 22.
