High School Fall Team Sports Championship History: Where Do Granby and East Granby Stand?

A look at past team championships won in the eight fall sports, and where Granby Memorial and East Granby high schools rank in each.

GRANBY-EAST GRANBY, CT — The first team state championships of the fall 2016 season have been decided, and with more state tournaments upcoming over the next few weeks, Patch decided to take a look at the title history in the eight fall sports, both statewide and locally.

We will analyze state titles won in boys and girls cross country, field hockey, football, boys and girls soccer, girls swimming and girls volleyball. Please note: we are only counting team championships won in cross country and swimming, with both class titles and State Open crowns included; individual event champions are not included.

Here is the breakdown of the top 10 for each fall sport, including Granby Memorial and East Granby's titles where applicable.
