Hiker Falls Off 30-Foot Cliff in Granby While Photographing Waterfalls
The New York City man suffered lacerations to his head and arms.
Emergency teams from Granby and East Hartland responded to reports called in of an injured hiker on Saturday, WFSB reports.
Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection officials said the 51-year-old New York City man suffered lacerations to his head and arms after falling from a 30-foot cliff at Enders State Forest in Granby. The hiker was taking photographs of the waterfalls and foliage.
Life Star was called to the scene to transport the man to Hartford Hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.
