WHAT: Hospital for Special Care is an official sponsor of The ALS Association, Connecticut Chapter Ice Bucket Challenge kickoff event Aug. 6 at Advanced Wheels. To raise awareness and donations for amyotrophic laterals sclerosis (ALS), Hospital for Special Care’s chief of neuromuscular medicine Dr. Kevin Felice has been nominated to participate in the dunk tank challenge during the event.

The ALS Association 2014 ice bucket challenge raised not only significant awareness for ALS but $115 million. Join the kickoff event to further help the ALS Association surpass the total funds raised in 2015. The first 75 people to attend the event will receive a free ALS T-shirt. Food and ice buckets will be provided for all who attend.
