June 25th East Granby Town Meeting Update

A Special East Granby Town Meeting was held on June 25th at the Senior and Community Center to consider and act upon capital projects as approved by the Boards of Finance, Education and Selectman along with closing completed capital project accounts.  All items were approved by the Town Meeting which is the Town’s legislative body.  Capital appropriation requests are not additional expenditures but rather they access funds that have already been approved in the annual budget by residents at referendum.  Specific capital projects are put forward by the policy boards, the Town Meeting then acts upon the appropriation request.
