Drivers on Whitehead Highway can expect lane closures and a detour Saturday, July 12, between Hudson Street and Prospect Street. Between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Saturday, a crane will be in the eastbound lane removing a manlift from private property next to Whitehead Highway, according to the <a href="http://www.ct.gov/dot/cwp/view.asp?A=2135&amp;Q=548410" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Connecticut Department of Transportation</a>.The detour will follow signed routes and directions from traffic control people to go from Hudson Street to Elm Street to Prospect Street, according to ConnDot.This plan is subject to changes because of weather or other conditions.
