Live Music - The North End Honeys

Tuesday, October 6th at 7pm, at The East Granby Public Library, Reservations requested Free concert

East Granby Public Library will host The North End Honeys in concert on Tuesday, October 6th at 7pm. Reservations are requested for this free event.

The North End Honeys are a band comprised of four magical beans hailing from Burlington, Vermont. Hannah Fair is a ball of sunshine with a gilded throat that channels her homegrown soul out into the world. Not only does she lend her voice to the band, but she also provides rhythmic finger jumbling by means of her good ole fashion acoustic guitar. Erin Cassels-Brown accompanies Miss Fair on the curvaceous acoustic guitar and also belts out folk vocals soaked in love. Some may see he looks like a reincarnated Everly Brother, while others remain distracted marveling in the sight of his charming, tiny shorts. Tuck Hanson joins the Honeys on the fiddle. His exquisite use of mind control allows his bow to strike his fiddle at unimaginable speeds resulting in a delightful and authentic honky tonk feel. Last, but not least we have Stephen Welter strumming his fancy on the upright base. Steve is a fella who looks like he’s wearing sunglasses even when he’s not. Upon first meeting, he may strike you as a character in a Tom Robbin’s novel. When all four Honeys comes together, they are one-- babies are born, old people fall in love, and everyone in-between stomps their feet and smiles until their cheeks fall off. The North End Honeys radiate their sweet amber color and electric voices over acoustic music in the streets of Burlington and enjoy showing everybody a yelling-good time!
