Valley Brook presents The Live Nativity at Salmon Brook Park on Saturday, December 5 from 5-8 PM. Live actors and animals. Free admission.

Valley Brook Community Church announces its annual Live Nativity, to be held on Saturday, December 5 in Salmon Brook Park, Granby, CT. “God continues to bless us with the ability to offer this rare experience to the community,” stated Clark Pfaff, pastor of Valley Brook. “The Live Nativity presentation is our gift to the community and over the past 15 years, we have shared it with thousands of people.”

Valley Brook’s Live Nativity is featured in WTIC-AM personality Diane Smith’s book, Christmas in Connecticut, and is a representation of the manger scene of the birth of Jesus Christ, using real actors and animals. Visitors are welcome to come walk through the life-size nativity, pet the animals and ponder the meaning of the season. Along with the nativity, there will be free refreshments, hot drinks and Christmas caroling, which visitors are invited to join in. “This is a wonderful event for the community” comments Pastor Clark. “We encourage everyone to join their family and friends and take a short break from their busy schedules to come reflect on the real reason for the season.” The Live Nativity is free of charge, and will be held on Saturday, December 5 from 5:00 to 8:00PM in Salmon Brook Park. The park is located on Route 10 in Granby, CT, approximately ½ mile south of Route 20.
