Major Route in Granby Closed for Several Hours Following Crash
A utility pole containing live wires is lying across the roadway, according to police.
GRANBY, CT - Granby police say a portion of Route 189 (North Granby Road) is closed at Wells Road due to a utility pole down across the roadway with live wires following a single-car motor vehicle accident.
No injuries were reported.
Capt. William Tyler said initial estimates are the road will be closed for about four hours. It was still closed at 2:45 p.m.
