Man Charged With Assaulting Girlfriend With Firearm in East Granby
He was arrested on numerous firearm and assault charges Sunday morning, according to police.

EAST GRANBY, CT — An East Granby man was arrested Sunday morning on numerous charges connected to an incident in which his girlfriend reported she had been assaulted and was being her against her will, state police said.
Justin Czaplinski, 37, was charged with first-degree unlawful restraint, third-degree assault, threatening, disorderly conduct, possession of assault weapons and violation of large capacity magazine requirements. No bond information was immediately available.
Police were called to Czaplinski's home around 9:30 a.m. with a report that a female had been assaulted with a firearm. State troopers reported finding numerous firearms within the residence, police said.

Czaplinski is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Enfield Superior Court.
