More Great College Feats By Granby, East Granby Students: Spring 2023

GRANBY-EAST GRANBY, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire. More great feats will be noted in the coming weeks.

Clark University, Worcester MA

• Two Granby residents were named to Clark University's spring 2023 Dean's List. Ellie E. Karabetsos was named to first honors, and Kevin G. Davis was named to second honors. Students must have a GPA of 3.8 or above for first honors or a GPA between 3.50 and 3.79 for second honors.

Clarkson University, Potsdam NY

• Jack Donald DiMeo of Granby received a bachelor of science degree with great distinction in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, honors program from Clarkson University on May 13, 2023.

College of Our Lady of the Elms, Chicopee MA

• The College of Our Lady of the Elms has named Joshua Guilmartin of East Granby and Alexander Karadimas of Granby to the dean's list for the spring 2023 semester. To qualify, a full-time student must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher, without incompletes.

Emerson College, Boston MA

• Three local students are named to Emerson College's Dean's List for the spring 2023 semester. Sabrina Porter of East Granby is majoring in communication disorders and is a member of the Class of 2024. Sage Kingsley of West Granby is majoring in media arts production and is a member of the Class of 2024. Tomas Lorenzo Macasaet of Granby is majoring in media arts production and is a member of the Class of 2025. The requirement to make Dean's List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester.

Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester NY

• Four local students were named to the Dean's List at Rochester Institute of Technology for the spring semester of the 2022-2023 academic year. They are Anthony Delprincipe of East Granby, who is in the computer science program; Garrett Thompson of Granby, who is in the computing security program; Matthew Gerace of Granby, who is in the electrical engineering technology program; and Aria Kingsley of West Granby, who is in the studio arts program. Full-time degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Roger Williams University, Bristol RI

• Select students have been named to the spring 2023 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester. Honorees include Audrey Corcoran, Trinity Dejesus, Patrick Lakomy and David Sales, all of East Granby, and Grace Lemoine of Granby.

University of Tampa, Tampa FL

• Skylar Boucher, of Granby, earned dean's list honors at the University of Tampa for the spring 2023 semester. Boucher is a freshman majoring in graphic design. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.75 or higher to be eligible for the dean's list.
