More Milestones Achieved By Granby, East Granby College Students: 2023

GRANBY-EAST GRANBY, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire. More great feats will be noted in the coming weeks.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Eastern Connecticut State University recently released its Dean's List for the spring 2023 semester, in which nearly 1,300 students were recognized for maintaining high GPAs.
  Among the students included are Kristian Kowalski of East Granby, majoring in environmental earth science; Justin Moreau of East Granby, majoring in computer science; Jack Sobota of East Granby, majoring in business information systems; Theodore Godard of Granby, majoring in business administration; Aidan Hennessy of Granby, majoring in computer science; and Grady Kelly of Granby, majoring in business administration. To qualify for Dean's List, full-time students must complete a minimum of 12 credits in letter-graded courses with an average GPA of 3.5 or higher in the semester.

Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester NY

• Rochester Institute of Technology conferred more than 4,800 degrees at all of its campuses in the 2022-2023 academic year. Matthew Gerace of Granby received a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering technology, and Jake Peverly of Granby received a Bachelor of Science degree in computing security.

University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI

• The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce the spring 2023 Dean's List, including Nick DeFranzo, Julia FIedziukiewicz, Hannah Martin and Delilah Strong, all of East Granby, and Alynne Gallion and Julia McHugh, both of Granby. To be included on the Dean's List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades which are GPA applicable during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Western New England University recently named over 570 students to the spring semester 2023 Dean's List. Jonathan Pedraza of East Granby is majoring in general business, and Cameron Gravlin of Granby is majoring in computer engineering.
