Northern Lights May Be Visible In Northern CT Monday Night

A rare G3 magnetic storm anticipated for Nov. 2 into Nov. 3 may allow the Aurora borealis to be visible in an expanded area.

The Northern Lights may be visible in North Jersey Monday night due to a solar storm.

According to the Aurora forecast from the Geophysical Institute at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, “highly active auroral displays will be visible overhead” as far south as Pennsylvania and Northern New Jersey, weather permitting.
