Breast cancer awareness is important year round, not just in October! On Saturday, May 11th, more than 5,000 fighters and supporters participated in the in the 10th annual CT Breast Cancer Initiative Race at Walnut Hill Park in New Britain. The walk/run raised money for breast cancer research and to support those who are still fighting. The money also goes towards breast cancer education PayHub’s Alan Nathan and Austin Peterson walked with their family, Merri and Ariel Nathan, along with the KP Cares group of King Phillip Middle School from West Hartford. Last October, PayHub raised $730 for breast cancer research, and we will be raising money again this year.
