Pedestrian Struck, Killed by Vehicle in Granby
East Street in Granby is closed as an accident reconstruction team works at the scene of a fatal accident Tuesday night.
GRANBY, CT — An adult male pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on East Street in Granby Tuesday evening.
The unidentified pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle operator, who remained at the scene, was uninjured, Capt. William Tyler said.
The road was closed following the accident, while a reconstruction team worked at the scene. Traffic detours were set up to divert cars to Mechanicsville Road, Tyler said.
