The Northern Connecticut Football League kicked off the 2015 season Sunday, with 14 programs beginning an eight-game regular season.
A small but enthusiastic pack of Granby Bears opened the season by traveling to Tolland to take on the Eagles.
Next week, Granby will have its home opener, entertaining South Windsor at Ahrens Field on Sept. 20.
