Toni Ann Chamberlain, the owner of at 518 Salmon Brook St. in Granby, has a simple explanation for why her restaurant is the most popular place for people to eat brunch in the Granbys.

“Everything is homemade,” Chamberlain said in a telephone interview. “We make our own breads - from cinnamon raisin to whole wheat - and soups and muffins and desserts, coffee cakes, and real homemade oatmeal.”

In addition, diners’ favorites include eggs benedict, eggs O’Brien, omelets and steak and eggs, as well as pancakes and homemade granola.
