Report Ranks Connecticut's Best Elementary Schools

Niche.com recently ranked the top 100 public elementary schools in Connecticut and the best school in Connecticut is South School in New Canaan.

Here’s how the Granby and East Granby schools placed:

• Kelly Lane Intermediate School (Granby)– 53
• Wells Road Intermediate School (Granby) – 85
• R. Dudley Seymour School (East Granby) – 106
• Carl Allgrove School (East Granby) – 113
• F. M. Kearns Primary School (Granby) – Not Ranked

According to Niche, a high ranking indicates that “students are happy with their experiences in all aspects, especially academics, teachers, and diversity,” “the school is an exceptional academic institution in terms of teachers, students, resources for learning, and student outcomes,” and “the school is made up of a diverse population and fosters an accepting, positive school culture.”
