Route 10 in Granby to be Closed Wednesday Night
The latest heavy load move is necessitating another temporary shutdown of the main road through town.
GRANBY, CT — Another heavy load move escorted by the Connecticut State Police will cause closure of a segment of Route 10 (Salmon Brook Street) in Granby Wednesday night.
A detour will be posted on Hartford Avenue (Route 189)/Floydville Road from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., according to police.
The closure is due to the installation of bridge shoring related to a heavy load move. Delays should be expected and the area avoided if possible, police said.
