Route 20 Eastbound Closed Briefly in Granby

UPDATE, 8:10 a.m. — Route 20 was fully re-opened to traffic following removal of the truck at 8:04 a.m., according to police.

GRANBY, CT — A jackknifed tractor trailer unit has necessitated the closure of the eastbound side of Route 20, Capt. William Tyler said.

Route 20 eastbound has been closed west of Route 189, and is anticipated to be closed until around 7:30 a.m. as the truck is removed, Tyler said.

A detour has been set up from Day Street to Route 189.
