Simsbury Firefighters Find Man Dead at Talcott Mountain
No foul play is suspected but police are investigating.
A man was found dead at the bottom of Talcott Mountain in Simsbury Saturday evening after he was reported missing.
According to the Hartford Courant, police received a call around 4 p.m. reporting the 25-year-old man was missing on the mountain.Â
Simsbury police and firefighters, along with State Department of Energy & Environmental Protection officers, and found the man's body at the bottom of the mountain around 5 p.m., according to the report.Â
No foul play is suspected but his death is being investigated.Â
