Due to the passing of Connecticut State Representative Elaine O'Brien, there will be a special election held on April 11, 2014 to fill the position of State Representative. All voters in East Granby are part of the 61st District which also includes Suffield and part of Windsor. The special election will be held on Friday, April 11th from 6 am to 8 pm at the Town's traditional polling place the Senior & Community Center.
