Spring has Sprung! Tina's Ice Cream Reopens in Granby
Area residents can now enjoy ice cream, milk shakes, malts and other treats at the Granby shop.
Another sign that spring has sprung? Tina’s Ice Cream in Granby opened Saturday after shuttering its doors for the winter.
Area residents can now choose between 30 flavors of ice cream (cotton candy is the most popular with the kids), milk shakes, ice cream pizza, floats and Avery’s Soda, among other items.
“We’ve been waiting for Tina’s to open,” Yvonne Wutka said. “[The kids have asked] can we go, yet?”
Owners Tina and Tom Shaw also hire local, with between eight and 10 employees working at the shop at any given time.
The idea is to give people a family friendly, fun place to bring their kids.
“It’s all about the fun,” Tina Shaw said.
