Stephen Paul Gingras, 57, of 48 Coolidge St., Windsor Locks, was arrested March 7 after his vehicle crashed into a mailbox on Holcomb Street, police said. Gingras was charged with driving under the influence and driving unreasonably fast for conditions. No injuries were reported.
A man reported to East Granby police March 1 that two dealer plates and other items were missing from inside his vehicle, which had been broken into between 3 and 7:30 p.m. The vehicle was parked in front of the Hartford/Springfield Auction building at 49 Russell Road.
