Sunny Skies, East Granby Chamber Of Commerce, And Patch

Today is Tuesday March 1, 2011 and there are 305 days left in the year.  Expect sunny skies today and the temperature will reach a high of 38 degrees.  No precipitation is expected for the remainder of the week and we may see the temperature rise to the mid-40's on Wednesday.

The East Granby Chamber of Commerce will hold its regularly scheduled board of directors meeting this morning at 8 a.m.  All Chamber members and the general public are  welcome to attend.  The board will meet at the East Granby Public Library.

After that it's off to the South Congregational Church in Granby for some social mingling and crafts.  The South Church is hosting a Tuesday morning craft and chat group in the Teale room. Bring whatever craft you'd like to work on for a little social time.  The group will meet from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.

The Granby Park and Recreation Board will meet tonight at the Senior Center and Youth Services building in Granby's municipal complex.  The board was last scheduled to meet on Feb. 1, 2011 but the meeting was canceled because of bad weather.  The board has not posted an updated agenda, however the Feb. 1 agenda is still posted on the town's website.
