Super Load Move Will Lead to Bridge Closure Sunday in Granby: Police
Details on the bridge closure and detour are available below.

GRANBY, CT — Connecticut State Police and the state Department of Transportation advise that the first of the super load moves has now been scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 26, Granby police say on Facebook.
The route will be 20 westbound from East Granby, then south on 10 into Simsbury, police said. The bridge on Rt. 10 north of Canton Road (by Mclean's Refuge parking lot) will require shoring operations before and after the move, police said.
There will be a hard closure (no vehicles in either direction) of that bridge 8 p.m. Sunday to approximately 2 a.m. Monday, police said. A well-posted detour will be Hartford Ave (Rt. 189) to Floydville Road southbound, and the reverse northbound. Local officers will be at the detour locations to provide assistance to motorists if needed.
