Two East Granby High School Seniors Earn Prestigious State Arts Honor

One student was honored for performing arts excellence and another for outstanding achievement in visual arts.

EAST GRANBY, CT — Two East Granby High School seniors have been selected for a statewide honor recognizing exceptional achievement in the arts.

The Connecticut Association of Schools has named Izabella Dallesander and Cassidy Clark as East Granby High School’s recipients of the 2026 CAS Outstanding Arts Award.

Dallesander was recognized for excellence in the performing arts, while Clark earned the award for excellence in the visual arts. Each year, CAS selects two seniors from participating high schools across Connecticut to represent outstanding artistic ability and leadership.

Both students will be honored at the 31st annual High School Arts Banquet in March, where they will be celebrated alongside their families and East Granby High School staff.

School officials praised the students for their dedication and leadership, noting their contributions to the school’s visual and performing arts programs.
