Valley Brook Offers Summer Art Camp

Valley Brook Community Church offering a one-week art camp for kids ages 5-12. Camp runs June 27-July 1.

Valley Brook Community Church is pleased to announce that “Art for the Heart,” a one week art camp, will be held June 27- July1 at Valley Brook’s campus in North Granby. “Art for the Heart” is open to all kids ages: 5-12. The camp will be separated into two sessions. Session A is for kids ages 5-8, and will run from 9:00-11:00 AM; Session B is for kids ages 9-12, and it will run from 1:00-3:00 PM. “We want to help kids enjoy a creative exploration of art through the worldview of faith and scripture. The kids will dive into God's word and create one-of-a-kind art pieces using many different mediums! We tell kids to dress to make a mess! ” said Erika Stupienski, the camp Director. Stupienski is a trained art professional with the passion and experience to work with children and to share the joy of creating art with them.

The cost for the camp is $40 per student which covers all the art supplies. Valley Brook offers two worship services on Sunday mornings at 9:15 and 11:00 AM. The church’s campus is located at 160 Granville Rd. in North Granby, CT. During each worship service the church offers a nursery for infants and toddlers through age two and classes for children. Valley Brook’s vision is to “Love God. Love People.
