Wayback Burgers Helping to Raise Hope for Hunter
The Granby location is raising funds in support of Hunter Pageau, 9, who is one of just 80 people worldwide diagnosed with SMARD.

Wayback Burgers locations throughout Connecticut will continue to raise funds to support North Haven’s Hunter Pageau, 9, who is one of just 80 people worldwide diagnosed with SMARD – spinal muscular atrophy with respiratory distress – an extremely rare motor neuron disorder.
Through the end of August, guests can purchase raffle tickets at any Connecticut Wayback Burgers location for the chance to win prizes, including Wayback Burgers gift cards, Hope for Hunter T-shirts, a Pepsi cooler and more, and provide Hope for Hunter.
Money raised during Wayback Burgers’ Hope for Hunter fundraiser will go toward helping his family fund a trip to Italy, where Hunter hopes to take part in clinical trials for a groundbreaking (and potentially lifesaving) new treatment option developed by Italian researchers.
