Wednesday's Powerball Jackpot Rises to $301 Million
The winning ticket will be worth nearly $200 million in cash.

When no one matched the winning Powerball numbers last Saturday, the jackpot for Wednesday, Sept. 30 escalated to an extraordinary $301 million. That translates into an estimated cash value of $191.4 million.
It’s the largest jackpot since February, when three different tickets won a $564 million jackpot.
Because demand for tickets will continue to rise until the Wednesday night drawing, Connecticut Lottery is advising players to purchase their Powerball tickets early to avoid the last-minute rush.
