Women's Health - A Priority for Saint Francis Hospital
Women are the "caretakers" of the family.

Women are the “caretakers” of the family whether for aging parents, an ailing sibling or partner, a friend or their children no matter what age and, as such, put themselves in danger by always prioritizing the needs of others.
Saint Francis Hospital has once again reinforced its leadership role in the medical industry by founding in 2013 the Women’s Comprehensive Health Center adjacent to its long established Medical Center in Hartford.
Breast Cancer, a leading cause for death for women claims 40,000+ lives annually in the U.S. With this in mind, the Saint Francis Comprehensive Health Center’s initial focus has been identifying and treating the causes of this disease with a facility dedicated to bringing the optimum health services for women via a coordinated team of specialized practitioners. One of those is Dr. Niamey Wilson, Director of the Hoffman Breast Health Center at Saint Francis.
