GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Police Department in conjunction with CT DMV inspectors conducted a commercial motor vehicle enforcement operation this week and issued over $11,000 worth of fines, according to the GPD.

On Feb. 19, authorities made several motor vehicle stops in town, police said, "resulting in (1) no insurance violation, (1) driver without a CDL endorsement while driving a commercial motor vehicle, and (1) vehicle with being placed out of service."

Overall, $11,182 in fines were issued, police noted.
