2 Greenwich Restaurants Receive 'Diamond' Status From AAA
The pair offer exceptional cuisine and superior customer service, according to the automobile and travel organization.

GREENWICH, CT - From AAA Northeast: Connecticut residents, who love to dine at a superb restaurant, will find that Fairfield County is home to two sparkling “Diamond” restaurants in the ring of outstanding dining facilities recognized by AAA for world-class service and amenities.
Rebeccas and the Thomas Henkelmann, both of Greenwich earned Four Diamond awards for the eighth and 14 consecutive years, respectively.
For the 8th consecutive year, Winvian of Morris in Connecticut’s idyllic northwest corner has earned the state’s only Five Diamond Award for its restaurant – the second Diamond earned in the last few weeks. Earlier this month, AAA announced Winvian had earned another Five Diamond for its unusual 113-acre property featuring 19 cottages of various themes.

Attaining a AAA Four or Five Diamond rating signifies meticulous attention to detail, creativity, outstanding service and memorable guest experiences, says Fran Mayko, AAA Northeast’s public affairs specialist. “These restaurants are truly the best of the best and we’re quite fortunate to have “Diamonds” right here in our own AAA ‘backyard.”
Just .2% of the 31,000 AAA-inspected and approved restaurants receive a Five Diamond designation and only 2.1% receive Four Diamonds, says Mayko.
