2 Juveniles Struck By Cars In Greenwich: Police
Three people were taken to the hospital, police said.
GREENWICH, CT — Two juveniles were injured after they were struck by two cars in central Greenwich Sunday morning, police said.
Deputy Police Chief Mark Zuccerella said that according to a preliminary investigation, the incident occurred at approximately 9:25 a.m. when an adult and two juveniles tried crossing Field Point Road south of the marked crosswalk at West Elm Street.
"The two juveniles were subsequently struck by two vehicles resulting in injuries and they were both transported to local hospitals," Zuccerella said via email, noting the injuries were not life-threatening.

One of the vehicle operators was also taken to the hospital for evaluation.
Field Point Road between Dayton Avenue and West Elm Street was temporarily closed, but it has since reopened for normal traffic flow, Zuccerella said.
