2 NY Men Accused Of Stealing Luxury Wallets In Greenwich: PD
The alleged incident occurred on Wednesday.

GREENWICH, CT — Two Bronx, NY men were arrested by Greenwich police Wednesday after they allegedly stole two Alexander McQueen wallets - combined worth $2,090 - from an unnamed Greenwich Avenue retailer, according to authorities.
The case began at about 1:30 p.m. when Julio R. Patrone, 35, ran a stop sign in the vehicle he was driving, which prompted an officer to pull him over. When asked, Patrone could not produce a driver's license.
"Further on scene investigation revealed that there were two Alexander McQueen wallets within the vehicle valued at $995.00 and $1,095.00 for a total value of $2,090.00," wrote police in a statement.

Initially Patrone and the passenger, Emmanuel D. Navas, 27, denied they knew anything about the wallets and could not produce receipts for them.
"Shortly after, the passenger admitted to have stolen them from a central Greenwich Retailer shortly before being pulled over.

"Based on all of the facts and circumstances gathered by officers it was believed that both subjects had come to Greenwich on today's date with the intent to plan/commit an organized larceny," police stated.
Patrone and Navas were both charged with:
- Organized retail theft
- Larceny, 3rd degree
- Conspiracy to commit larceny, 3rd degree
Patrone additionally was charged with driving without a license and failure to obey a stop sign. The two were each held in lieu of bails of $1,000 and are scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Feb. 27.
