2 Vehicles Stolen In Greenwich: Police
Two vehicles parked in Greenwich were reported stolen from the same street, according to police.

GREENWICH, CT — Two vehicles parked in Greenwich were reported stolen late Friday night, according to police. Lt. Mark Zuccerella said both vehicles, a Volkswagen and a Jaguar, were taken from Indian Pass in the Cos Cob area of town.

Last weekend, police said three vehicles were stolen in town, each of which had also been left unlocked. According to Zuccerella, a Jeep Cherokee parked on Sheephill Road was reported stolen on July 10, and the vehicle was later recovered in Norwalk.

A Ford Expedition parked on Riverside Avenue was also stolen that day and was later found on Willow Road, Zuccerella said. A couple of days later, a Lincoln was stolen from East Putnam Avenue while a resident was shopping in town.

Zuccerella said a number of vehicle break-ins were also reported over that weekend on Gregory Road, Railroad Avenue, Willow Road, Pilgrim Drive and Riverdale Avenue. The lieutenant said fishing equipment was stolen from one of the vehicles and a bag of household items and a laptop were stolen from another vehicle.
