2018 Greenwich Town Party Tickets Sell Out Quickly
Iconic recording artist Eric Clapton is the headlining act.

GREENWICH, CT — Tickets to the 2018 Greenwich Town Party sold out in minutes on Thursday, April 5, as demand far exceeded the 5,600-ticket supply, according to organizers.
"We are thrilled with the overwhelming interest and enthusiasm for the 2018 Greenwich Town Party," said Ray Rivers, the event's Co-President, in a statement. "We want to thank everyone who purchased Community tickets this morning. Ticket sales went live at exactly 10AM and we had a huge demand this year. All 5600 Community tickets were purchased within minutes. It worked as a lottery, everyone online at 10AM had an equal chance to make a purchase of up to six tickets. The demand was significantly greater than supply. We wish we could accommodate everyone who wanted to purchase a ticket."
This year the annual event is scheduled for May 26 with iconic Grammy Award-winning recording artist Eric Clapton headlining.

Rivers added, "Throughout the year, we promote and offer a variety of opportunities to purchase tickets prior to the official sale date. From August to mid-November, Community tickets were available for 'early bird' purchase on the GTP website for those who wanted to guarantee entry this year, even prior to the artist announcement. Beginning in early January, Sponsor passes became available and Neighbor Passes followed in March. Sponsor passes are still available today on our site.
"The GTP is a non-profit organization, and thanks to the continued support and generosity of GTP sponsors and donors, the Community tickets are sold at a significantly discounted price. Our goal has always been to bring people together to celebrate the strength of the community and enjoy a day of amazing music, food, family and friends."
