2018 Summer Pickleball In Greenwich

The season runs through Sept. 5.

From the Town Hall Parks and Recreation Department: Pickleball in Greenwich continues to grow! Greenwich Recreation is excited to offer more dates for this popular sport this summer.

Registration opens Monday, April 23 for outdoor pickleball on the paddle tennis courts at Loughlin Avenue. Pickleball at Loughlin Avenue Park will take place on Wednesdays 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM, May 30 through September 5. The fee is $60.00 per adult or $35.00 for Greenwich residents with a valid senior park pass.

Greenwich residents may register online here and select “activity registration.” Registration will also be available by mail or in person at the Parks and Recreation office starting Monday, May 7. Mail-in registration may not be postmarked earlier than May 7. Registration forms are available at the Recreation Office located at Town Hall and online here: click on Parks and Recreation and then adult programs under Recreation.

Residents that have a valid tennis or park pass may also play outdoors at the Christiano Park courts or Loughlin Avenue Park courts; multi-lined to include pickleball. Pickleball will meet for social play at the Christiano courts on Mondays 10:00 AM – Noon starting May 28 through September 24.

Players looking to drop-in and play indoors in the evenings will be able to do so at both Civic Centers. Drop-in players are welcome at the Western Greenwich Civic Center on Wednesdays 7:00 – 9:00 PM (presently on-going) and at the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center on Fridays 7:30 – 9:30 PM starting July 6 through August 24.
