Colleen has been an educator in the Greenwich Public School System for over 30 years. She is currently one of the Central Middle School guidance counselors.

No
Have you ever held a public office, whether appointive or elective?
Former Representative Town Meeting Member, Budget Overview Committee from District 12.
Now we'd like to ask a few questions about your reasons for running and your general views on politics and government. First, why are you seeking this office?
I was raised in Greenwich, went to Greenwich public schools K-12. I am a Certified Public Accountant who has my own public firm in Old Greenwich. I have been managing my firm for the past 28 years, serving this community. I have received much from this town and am now able to give back. I look forward to working with all of the Board of Estimate and Taxation (BET) members in a non partisan fashion to fund projects to maintain and improve our community in a fiscally responsible manner. I am also looking forward to working collaboratively with the First Selectman and the Board of Education (BOE). My hope is that this will ensure a smooth and transparent process.
Please complete this statement: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it.
The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is inflation and rising costs across the board. I intend to keep our real estate taxes affordable by using a common sense fiscally conservative process. This process has served Greenwich well for over 100 years.
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
Although I am sure all my opponents are fine people and qualified for the position, history and recent times have shown us that Democrats are not the party of fiscal responsibility. Town residents want their elected officials to spend wisely, while keeping all involved in the process accountable.
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
It is important for the public to understand that borrowing money for projects that cannot be completed in a timely manner will cost the town much more in the long run. There is a reason the town has a AAA rating and that is because of Republican leadership, and responsible borrowing.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I have successfully helped the residents and business owners of Greenwich make smart decisions about money for the past 28 years. I served two terms as the Chair of Trustees of the First Congregational Church of Greenwich where I worked successfully with a politically diverse board during some difficult times.
What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
We have two ears and one mouth so that we can listen twice as much as we speak.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
Greenwich has been my home for most of my 58 years. It will be my honor to serve.
