3 Accused Of Identity Theft, Forgery: Greenwich Police
Three men were arrested after officers found fraudulent checks in their vehicle parked in Greenwich, according to police.

GREENWICH, CT — Three men were arrested Friday afternoon after officers found "multiple" fraudulent checks in a vehicle parked in Greenwich, according to police.
The arrests were made after the department received a report of a possible fraudulent transaction at a Chase bank branch in town, police said in a statement. (To sign up for Greenwich breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
Officers later located three men matching the suspects' descriptions in a vehicle double-parked near East Putnam Avenue, police said.

Officers searched the vehicle and located marijuana, as well as "multiple checks" made out to names matching several fake IDs in their possession, police said.
"The persons on these IDs were contacted and related they did not give these [men] permission to access their banking information and that they were, in fact, victims of identity theft," police said in a statement.

Police said two of the people contacted were over the age of 60. All three men were subsequently arrested.
Christopher Finegan, 45, of Atlantic City, N.J., was charged with first-degree identity theft, second-degree forgery, conspiracy, criminal impersonation and attempted first-degree larceny.
Anthony Ducille, 20, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was charged with first-degree identity theft, second-degree forgery, conspiracy, criminal impersonation, attempted first-degree larceny and illegal possession.
Keiser Croft, 22, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was charged with first-degree identity theft, second-degree forgery, conspiracy, criminal impersonation, attempted first-degree larceny and illegal possession.
