3 Juvenile Car Thieves Busted By Greenwich Police
The three are accused of multiple vehicle thefts in town last July.

GREENWICH, CT — Three juveniles from the Hartford area, who allegedly participated in a rash of eight vehicle thefts over one night in Greenwich last July, were arrested on warrants on April 17 and 18, according to police.
"These arrests were the result of a lengthy investigation into one of a series of auto theft sprees in the Greenwich Community," wrote Greenwich police in a statement. "This spree and subsequent arrests involved eight stolen vehicles from multiple residences in Greenwich on the night of July 16, 2017."
At the time of the thefts, all eight vehicles had been left unlocked with the keys inside.

The investigation, which is ongoing, was carried out by members of the department's Detective Division and Special Victims Section.
"Drivers are reminded to lock their vehicles and take their keys and valuables when they park," wrote police.
