3 Republican Incumbents Fail To Receive Party Nomination For Greenwich BET: Report

It took several ballots for Greenwich Republicans to choose a slate of Board of Estimate and Taxation candidates Tuesday night.

GREENWICH, CT — Three incumbent Republican members of the Greenwich Board of Estimate and Taxation failed to receive their party's nomination to run for new terms in this fall's election, reports the Greenwich Time.

Local Republicans held their nominating meeting Tuesday night, and James Lash, Art Norton and Leslie Tarkington did not garner enough votes to seek re-election on the party ticket.

Replacing them will be Andy Duus, Karen Fassuliotis and Deborah Hess, all three of whom are new candidates. They will be joined by incumbents Bill Drake, current board chair Michael Mason and Nancy Weissler.
