No one won the Mega Millions jackpot for 10-16-18 and the grand prize is now at a record $868 million for Friday, Oct. 19.

Connecticut had 56,640 "winning" Mega Millions tickets sold for Tuesday night's jackpot drawing, which no one won and it means the new grand prize will be an estimated $868 million, or $494.5 million cash. The new record, which beat the previous mark of $656 million set on March 30, 2012, will be up for grabs on Friday, October 19. The jackpot comes after no ticket matched all six numbers drawn Tuesday night – the white balls 3, 45, 49, 61 and 69, plus the gold Mega Ball 9.

Nine tickets matched the five white balls to win the game’s second prize. One of them, sold in Texas, included the optional Megaplier and is worth $5 million.
